A new comet coming in August 2011 could be awesome

For those of you who were disappointed by Comet Hartley 2 keep the faith because recently discovered Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1) is on track to light up the pre-dawn sky. The comet was discovered by Leonid Elenin on December 10th. It’s currently in the constellation Virgo some 375 million miles away putting it just this side of Jupiter’s orbit. At that distance the comet is very dim and visible only in advanced telescopes.

Fair warning, predicting comet brightness is notoriously inaccurate as those of us who tried to find Comet Kohoutek in 1973 painfully know. All things known so far are indicating a bright naked-eye comet similar to Comet McNaught in 2007. That was an event our friends in the southern hemisphere will never forget.

Preliminary predictions have Comet Elenin coming within 42 million miles of the Earth with a very favorable comet-sun angle for observers in the northern hemisphere. This is likely to change somewhat as additional data will tweak the orbit, but as it stands now we will see a spectacular comet in late August and early September 2011.

The last bright comet we had in Aurora, CO was Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997. It’s my hope is this comet will compare with Comet West in 1976. Having seen both, as spectacular as Comet Hale-Bopp was it was blown away by Comet West. Believe me, you will have no problem seeing this comet if it’s anything like Comet West unless you are blind.
I’m keeping my finger crossed and hoping for a great comet. We’ll keep you posted.

    Wishing you clear skies

    Comet Elenin boom to bust

    • February 25th, 2011 7:13 pm ET

It look’s like those of us who were hoping Comet Elenin would be a great comet will be disappointed. New updates indicated this comet will be more like Comet Hartley 2. This means seeing the comet will require binoculars and a dark sky. The IAU (International Astronomical Union) is still predicting the comet may brighten to be naked eye visible in dark skies, but still not bright enough to be easily seen in metropolitan areas.

As I stated in my previous article predicting how bright comets will be is notoriously inaccurate. The comet is still far enough away that things could change, but as the comet gets closer the likelihood of change falls off dramatically. Additionally the comet is now predicted to be at its brightest when it's behind the Sun. In the ten days it will take before we can see the comet come from behind the Sun it may dim considerably.

Right now there is nothing absolutely certain about the comet’s orbit. We do know its orbit is very eccentric which gives it an orbit in the hundreds of thousands of years.

At one time the comet’s orbit was believed to be hyperbolic meaning the comet would past the Sun never to return.
Astronomers will learn much more about the comet in the next few months. Maybe we will luck out with a comet we can see with our eyes. You can follow the Elenin’s orbit here. If you want to follow brightness predictions you can go to Seiichi Yoshida’s excellent web site and scroll down to the Magnitudes Graph. The smaller the magnitude number the better. A 6 on the scale is needed for a comet to just be barely seen in dark skies, a 3 is needed for suburban areas. The smaller the number, the better. Comet McNaught was a minus 6!

I will keep you posted on any changes and I still have my fingers crossed, because comets can be very fickle.
    Wishing you clear skies

Earth-Issues posting about a chilling report prepared for President Medvedev by Minister Serdyukov of the Russian Defense Ministry on the building of an additional 5,000 underground ‘bomb’ shelters in Moscow warns that even though progress is being made, the appearance of the new Comet Elenin in our Solar System means“additional resources” will have to be added “immediately” as the 2012 timeline for completion “may not be soon enough”. Sparking the fears of Minister Serdyukov, he says in this report, is that based upon the new orbit calculations for Comet Elenin, it appears in “all likelihood” that this celestial object is under some type of “intelligent control” and will approach our Earth “much closer” than originally thought this coming fall season.

Comet Elenin was discovered by Doctor-Scientist Leonid Elenin on 10 December 2010

Comet Elenin was discovered by Doctor-Scientist Leonid Elenin on 10 December 2010 from his research facility in Lyubertsy utilizing images acquired from the 18-inch (45-cm) telescope at the ISON-NM Observatory near Mayhill, New Mexico and confirmed by Doctor-Scientists Aleksei Sergeyev and Artem Novichenko from the Maidanak Observatory in Uzbekistan.

Upon its discovery Comet Elenin was traveling very near the ecliptic plane at more than 4 Astronomical Units (375 million miles) from the Sun and headed inbound towards it.

Its original perihelion [point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid or comet where it is nearest to the Sun] was calculated to occur well inside Earth’s orbit at about 0.45 Astronomical Units (42 million miles) from the Sun to occur on or about 5 September 2011 making it visible to the naked eye in the pre-dawn skies in the Constellation of Leo.

Most ominous in Minister Serdyukov’s report is his assertion that Comet Elenin appears to be in “direct contact” with the mysterious Jupiter-sized planet discovered beyond the orbit of Pluto that is, also, headed inbound towards our Sun. American scientists Daniel Whitmire and John Matese from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette have named this mysterious planet Tyche, but as Earth-Issues stated previously in “Russian Leader Confirms To Pope New Planet Arrival In 2012”, the ancient peoples of our Earth new it by other names as well.

Interesting to note about Comet Elenin is that even though the American space agency NASA has said “Because of the possibility that the comet’s orbit slightly deviate from, there is no guarantee that Earth will be missed”,

they have, also, in contradiction, stated that “…Comet Elenin will come nowhere near the Earth.

At its closest (on 10 September 2011) it will be more than 25 million km from our planet.”
To the identity of those extraterrestrial forces controlling Comet Elenin our world had been forewarned about by the former Canadian Defense Minister, Paul Hellyer, who stated about them: “Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help. But instead we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.”

As to those “visitors from other planets” referred to by Minister Hellyer we can further glean from the memo sent to President Franklin Roosevelt (1882-1945) by his Army Chief of Staff George Marshall (1880-1959) [reprinted below in its entirety] about what is now referred to as “The Battle of Los Angeles” where American Forces fired upon a UFO fleet shortly after their countries entrance into World War II.

From the United States initial firing upon these UFO’s in “The Battle of Los Angeles” they continued to appear over both the European and Pacific Theaters of Operation during World War II and were dubbed as “Foo Fighters” by the US Army Air Forces 415th Night Fighter Squadron.

The most famous modern historical account of these UFO/Foo Fighters occurred in the summer of 1947 when at least one of them was shot down, or crashed near the Roswell Army Air Field in New Mexico which was home to the US Army Air Forces 509th Bomb Group that dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, and is known today as the “Roswell Incident”.

Though initially reported to the American public by their government that a “flying saucer” had, indeed, been captured, the US Military almost immediately contradicted themselves by denying what just 24-yours earlier they had admitted.

Though the masses of the American people are still not being told the truth about the dire state of our world, the same cannot be said about their elite masters, who according to new evidence gathered by independent researchers are building for themselves vast underground bunkers to protect themselves when the times of trouble come. One such company building these underground survival bunkers for the US elite is the American Reassurance Communities (ARC), and who describe their efforts as follows:

“Each ARC Bunker Complex consists of a 300,000 sq ft subterranean self-contained community survival shelter complex designed to accommodate 2500 people for up to 60 months in military grade bunkers complete with schools, medical/dental, greenhouses, theater, recreation, everything needed for a large group of people to live in a safe, comfortable environment and survive almost any disaster. ARC Bunkers are manufactured to withstand a direct nuclear hit, EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) attacks, biological attacks, hurricanes, tornados, volcanos, earthquakes, floods, solar flares, meteorites, and ground assaults.”

For anyone thinking they can order such protection for themselves (even allowing that they have the hundreds of thousands of dollars it would cost) an ARC spokesman said in a recently released conversation that it would take over a year for them to be able to build anything because of the tremendous backorders they are now filling due to what he says is because “everyone is freaked out about something”.

And this is aside from the US government’s recent purchase of over $1 Billion in survival food to protect America’s leaders.

To what those in the knowing are so “freaked about” it is in our knowing too, but is, also, so complex and shrouded in shadows as to make it nearly indecipherable to all but the most informed, and which, most assuredly, the masses of people today aren’t even close to.

The complete story, and the knowledge you have a right to know, is only going to be gained by yourself as those who rule over you will tell you nothing, even to the point of disparaging those, like us, who believe not only in your right to know the truth, but how simple it can really be to protect yourself and your families from the many horrors yet to come. This report, therefore, like all the others before it, is but another “puzzle piece” to be put into place so that when added to the many others to come will show you the shattering truth being kept from you.

[Ed. Note: Western governments and their intelligence services actively campaign against the information found in these reports so as not to alarm their citizens about the many catastrophic Earth changes and events to come, a stance that the Sisters of Sorcha Faal strongly disagrees with in believing that it is every human beings right to know the truth.

Due to our missions conflicts with that of those governments, the responses of their ‘agents’ against us has been a longstanding misinformation/misdirection campaign designed to discredit and which is addressed in the report “Who Is Sorcha Faal?”.]
“A timid person is frightened before a danger, a coward during the time, and a courageous person afterward.” And these are, indeed, the times one has to choose which they are, we hope you are courageous, they will be the only ones to survive.” by Jean Paul Richter (1763-1825)

I sent Leonid Elenin an email asking about the estimated sise of the comet. Here's his reply: "Hi Maksim! Thanks for congratulations. My comet is relative small (for long-period comets), I estimate diameter about 3-4 km."

    Column meaning:

    TIME

Prior to 1962, times are UT1. Dates thereafter are UTC. Any 'b' symbol in
    the 1st-column denotes a B.C. date. First-column blank (" ") denotes an A.D.
date. Calendar dates prior to 1582-Oct-15 are in the Julian calendar system.
Later calendar dates are in the Gregorian system.

The uniform Coordinate Time scale is used internally. Conversion between
CT and the selected non-uniform UT output scale has not been determined for
UTC times after the next July or January 1st. The last known leap-second
is used over any future interval.

NOTE: "n.a." in output means quantity "not available" at the print-time.

    R.A._(ICRF/J2000.0)_DEC =
J2000.0 astrometric right ascension and declination of target center.
Corrected for light-time. Units: HMS (HH MM SS.ff) and DMS (DD MM SS.f)

    T-mag N-mag =
Comet's approximate apparent visual total magnitude ("T-mag") and nuclear
    magnitude ("N-mag") by following definitions:
    T-mag = M1 + 5*log10(delta) + k1*log10(r)
    N-mag = M2 + 5*log10(delta) + k2*log10(r) + phcof*beta
    Units: none

    delta deldot =
Range ("delta") and range-rate ("delta-dot") of target center with respect
to the observer at the instant light seen by the observer at print-time would
have left the target center (print-time minus down-leg light-time); the
distance traveled by a light ray emanating from the center of the target and
recorded by the observer at print-time. "deldot" is a projection of the
velocity vector along this ray, the light-time-corrected line-of-sight from the
coordinate center, and indicates relative motion. A positive "deldot" means the
target center is moving away from the observer (coordinate center). A negative
"deldot" means the target center is moving toward the observer.
    Units: AU and KM/S

    S-O-T /r =
Sun-Observer-Target angle; target's apparent solar elongation seen from
observer location at print-time. If negative, the target center is behind
    the Sun. Angular units: DEGREES.

The '/r' column is a Sun-relative code, output for observing sites
    with defined rotation models only.

/T indicates target trails Sun (evening sky)
/L indicates target leads Sun (morning sky)

NOTE: The S-O-T solar elongation angle is the total separation in any
direction. It does not indicate the angle of Sun leading or trailing.

    S-T-O =
Sun-Target-Observer (~ PHASE ANGLE) angle: the vertex angle at target center
formed by a vector to the apparent center of the Sun and a vector intersecting
the observer at print-time. This measurable angle is within 20 arcseconds
(0.006 deg) of the reduced PHASE ANGLE at observer's location at print time.
The difference is due to down-leg stellar aberration affecting measured target
position but not apparent solar illumination direction. When computing phase,
Horizons uses the true phase angle, not S-T-O, but the resulting difference
in illuminated fraction is less than 0.001%.
    Units: DEGREES

Is Comet Elenin the famed Planet X or Nibiru as some call it, or just another comet? Will it cause pole shifts, earthquakes and other severe Earth changes? At this point I do not know. Let’s assume for sake of argument that the theory about Elenin is correct and extrapolate some of the data to see what we can conclude.

As already noted the next time the comet aligns with earth is 3/15/2011 and it will be at a distance of 2.099 as depicted below.

So if their theory is correct and the comet caused the 8.8 quake in Chile and moved the earth 3 degrees when it was at a distance of 6.047 and it caused a proportional response to the earth on 3/15/2011 when its distance is 2.099 what might we expect to see? The effect would be 2.88 (6.047/2.099) times greater. Thus if the first one caused a 3 degree shift then the March 15 alignment could cause a 3 x 2.88 = 8.6 degree shift and an earthquake 2.88 times greater would be 8.8 + log 2.88 = 9.25 on the Richter scale. If the effect will be proportional to the square of the distance it would have about an 8.3 times greater effect, yielding a 25 degree shift and a 9.7 quake.
