Day 1 - Q&A

Q1 This morning my mind became peaceful and my breath became subtle. It was hard to notice it. Then there were blue and purple circular lights appearing and then a diffused white light along with the feeling of happiness. At this stage should I focus on the light or something else? The breath is imperceptible.
Q2 02:28 - I have a strong attachment to people who I have lost and it's affecting my practice. I have a craving to meet them or talk to them. How can I release my attachment so I can practice more peacefully?
Q3 09:02 - On occasions when I have a very hectic day at work, or I'm going through a peak period with more demands and activities, it is sometimes difficult to settle down in meditation. The body is not settled. The adrenaline level can still be felt within the mind. The mind is still filled with planning activities. Kindly advise the best practice to handle this.
Q4 12:09 - I feel whenever I use something like Bhuto to focus it gives pressure on the right side of my head and jaw. Instead what has been successful for me is expensive practices like walking, long metta sits and resting attention on the breath. Is this okay?
Q5 14:10 - In my practice I am seeing more and more the unsatisfactoriness of worldly things and phenomena. Instead of dispassion [arising], it seems like my aversion increases. How do I pepper my practice with more joy or more wholesome mind states instead of feeling miserable and irritable. 28:27 Comment from a yogi (indistinct): Is taking the awareness as self suffering?
Q6 24:11 - I struggle with feelings of self hatred and self-loathing. I've tried many methods, repeating phrases, imagining an environment of love and acceptance and accepting that I have these feelings etc but nothing seems to shift. Do you have any other advice?
