แผ่นดินไหว 6.9 ริกเตอร์ แถบชายฝั่งเปรู ปชช.บาดเจ็บ 20 คน
เกิดแผ่นดินไหว 6.9 ริกเตอร์ในพื้นที่ชายฝั่งของประเทศเปรูในช่วงเช้าตรู่วันนี้ (29 ต.ค) ตามเวลาประเทศไทย โดยห่างจากเมืองลิมา เมืองหลวงของเปรู 300 กิโลเมตร
สำนักงานสำรวจทางธรณีวิทยาของสหรัฐ (USGS) รายงานว่า เกิดแผ่นดินไหว 6.9 ริกเตอร์ในพื้นที่ชายฝั่งของเปรูในช่วงเช้าตรู่วันนี้ตามเวลาประเทศไทย โดยมีศูนย์กลางอยู่ห่างจากเมืองลิมา เมืองหลวงของเปรู ประมาณ 300 กิโลเมตร
แผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้ ส่งผลให้มีผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บ 20 คน นอกจากนี้ แรงสั่นสะเทือนของแผ่นดินไหวยังสร้างความเสียหายต่ออาคารหลายแห่ง และทำให้กระแสไฟฟ้าดับ อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังไม่มีการเตือนภัยคลื่นสึนามิจนถึงขณะนี้ สำนักข่าวซินหัวรายงาน

สำนักข่าวไทยรายงานว่าได้เกิดแผ่นดินไหวขนาด 3.6 ริกเตอร์ ศูนย์กลางอยู่ประเทศพม่า สามารถรับรู้แรงสั่นสะเทือนถึง อ.แม่สาย จ.เชียงราย ด้านผู้ว่าฯ เชียงราย ขอให้ประชาชนอย่าตื่นตระหนก เชื่อไม่มีเหตุแผ่นดินไหวรุนแรงตามมาอีก แต่หากเกิดขึ้นทางจังหวัดมีมาตรการช่วยเหลือประชาชนอยู่แล้ว

ครั้งแรกฝันค่ะ น้ำพุ่งลงมาจากที่สูงเยอะมาก ครั้งที่สอง ถูกลากขึ้นไปตามแม่น้ำจนถึงเขื่อนแห่งหนึ่งแล้วน้ำก็พุ่งลงมาอย่างแรง ตื่นพอดี สงสัยคิดมาก

คือว่าจีนมีแผ่นไหวถี่ขนาดนี้ มีผลกับเขื่อนมั้ยคะโดยเฉพาะเขื่อนใหญ่ๆที่กั้นแม่น้ำโขงอยู่ แค่เขื่อนภูมิพล เขื่อนสิริกิิติ์ เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์ของเราปล่อยน้ำออกมาพร้อมกัน ภาคกลางน้ำยังท่วมขนาดนี้ แล้วถ้าเขื่อนยักษ์ขนาดนั้นมีปัญหาขึ้นมาละก็ หนีไปไหนดีล่ะ นี่ก็เป็นผู้ลี้ภัยอยู่เลย :'(

เม็กซิโก สะเทือนแผ่นดินไหว 6.3 ริกเตอร์ นอกชายฝั่งแปซิฟิก แต่ไม่มีความเสียหายจากสึนามิ
เมื่อวันที่ 1 พ.ย. สำนักข่าวต่างประเทศ รายงานจากรุงเม็กซิโก้ ซิตี้ เมืองหลวงของประเทศเม็กซิโก ว่า เกิดเหตุแผ่นดินไหวรุนแรงวัดขนาดได้ 6.3 ริคเตอร์ โดยศูนย์กลางอยู่ในมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก นอกชายฝั่งประเทศเม็กซิโก แต่ยังไม่มีประกาศเตือนภัยสึนามิ หรือรายงานความเสียหายหรือผู้เสียชีวิตและบาดเจ็บแต่อย่างใด โดยเมื่อเวลา 19.32 น.ตามเวลาประเทศไทย สำนักงานสำรวจธรณีวิทยาของประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาได้แจ้งเหตุแผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้ว่า มีจุดศูนย์กลางห่างจากคาบสมุทรบาฮา กาลิฟอร์เนีย ของประเทศเม็กซิโก ห่างไปทางทิศตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ 333 กม. และห่างจากกรุงเม็กซิโกซิตี้ 1,050 กม. มีจุดศูนย์กลางลึกลงไปในมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก 5 กม. แต่ไม่มีผลกระทบและความเสียหายจากคลื่นสึนามิแต่อย่างใด สำหรับเม็กซิโก เป็นหนึ่งในประเทศ ที่ตั้งอยู่ในเขตวงแหวนแห่งไฟ รอบมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก จึงเกิดแผ่นดินไหวขึ้นบ่อยครั้ง โดยในปี28 เคยเกิดแผ่นดินไหวขนาด 8.1 ริคเตอร์ นอกชายฝั่งมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก ห่างกรุงเม็กซิโกซิตี้ 300 กม. สร้างความเสียหายอย่างรุนแรงและมีผู้เสียชีวิตถึง 10,000 คน ด้วย.
